I love purple too, but thought it would be too dark! I went with a lavender. A soft baby pink and baby blue goes great with lavender. I had my bridesmaid in pink and my maid of honor in lavender. Decorate with those colors mixed with ivory and you’re good to go!
The complimentary (opposite of the color wheel) color of purple yellow/gold.
You can also do purple and silver
purple and red
purple and blue
You could do a lavender, baby blue and platinum color scheme. That would may your spring wedding photos pop.
Try a violet combined with a lavender shade. There are purple flowers in many shades that compliment each other. Add a touch of deep greenery and you’re golden.
I think those colors would be beautiful together! Blue, purple, and ivory! For spring flowers, I think a great choice would be Hydrangeas, those can be both purple and blue. Ivory ribbon would be the final touch! These colors will also give you alot of choices for bridesmaids dresses and such.
Your wedding will be beautiful!!
Have your bride maids where purples and blues, Hydrangeas are pretty and come in purples and blues, white lights ivory material. You can try work all most flowers that have blue and purples!
My wedding colors are dark purple, gold, ivory and *hints* of dark brown (the fi’s fav color). Dark purple and ivory are my “main” colors, with accents of gold and little bits of dark brown here and there.
It goes together really good
Good luck!
Try plum with tangerine accents– I know it sounds crazy, but they look gorgeous together. Stargazer lillies (the purpley-blue ones) would make a pretty bouquet, especially with little orange accent flowers mixed in. Just have fun with it, not everything has to be matchy-matchy or “normal” wedding colors! Here’s a link to give you an idea of how the colors would look together:
a good spring theme is purple, yellow/gold, and ivory
I did a dark purple and antique gold. The flowers were cream and pink. It really turned out beautiful.
yellow. I’ve seen some flowers that had purple with yellow on them
